Trusted with the inside of your premises
SiteWalk™ is used to walk private, sometimes sensitive spaces. Keeping what your team captures secure isn’t a feature we bolted on; it’s how the product is built. Here’s our approach, in plain terms.
-
Where your data lives
Your data is hosted in the United Kingdom (AWS, London region), and it stays there.
-
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Photos, notes and voice are all encrypted on the way to us and while they’re stored.
-
Access controlled by role
Access is governed by role and protected by multi-factor authentication. People see their own team’s data and nothing else; team owners control who’s in and what they can do. Beyond your team and the people you choose to share with, only a small, vetted Symantiq engineer can access your data, and only when it’s needed to support and maintain the service.
-
Maslo, voice and AI
SiteWalk uses a third-party AI service (OpenAI’s API) for two things: turning your team’s voice notes into text, and powering Maslo’s answers. The content involved is sent only to produce your transcripts and answers. It is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. OpenAI retains it briefly for abuse monitoring (up to 30 days), then deletes it.
-
Who else touches your data
We rely on a small, vetted set of sub-processors (hosting, AI inference, analytics, observability and error monitoring), each under a data processing agreement. The current list is available on request.
-
Your data, your control
You can export or delete your data at any time. When you cancel, you have a 30-day window to export everything before we delete it from our systems, and we’ll confirm deletion in writing on request.
